Porsche 911s built between 1974 and 1977 represent a unique transition point for the brand, straddling eras between the classic, long hood cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s, but before the introduction of the hugely successful 911 SC, which started in 1978. This model ushered in the famed “impact bumpers” which were fitted with only minor alterations through the production of the 3.2 Carrera, ending in 1989, along with fuel injection which eventually became the default for the model as well. These cars represent great air cooled 911 value today and still offer a very classic driving experience, at a reasonable price. This 1977 911 S Targa is a wonderful example finished in silver over a black vinyl interior. Presented in very nice driver condition, the car shows off the classic “mid-year 911” narrow rear fenders, paired with the new for the era impact bumpers with integrated side markers. This example sits on a set of classic 5-spoke Fuchs wheels in two-tone polished and black, and features a single later flag-style mirror on the driver’s side. Inside, black vinyl covers the seats both front and rear which is in largely good condition save for a split seam on the driver’s seat. Sit in the driver’s seat and you are met by a 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel which frames Porsche’s famed 5-gauge cluster. Right in front of the driver sits an 8,000 RPM tachometer with a 6,250 rpm redline and to its right, a 150 mph speedometer. A newer Nakamichi CD head unit is installed in the center of the dashboard but the interior is otherwise very original looking. Powering this 1977 911 S is a 2.7-liter air cooled flat-6 that utilizes Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. In “S” guise, the 911 produced 173 horsepower and produced nice power throughout the rev range. This is then connected to a 5-speed 915 transaxle which sends power to the rear wheels. This car has been very well cared for over the years and comes with a large stack of invoices up to present for work performed at various specialty shops in the Seattle area. For the enthusiast who wants to experience air-cooled 911 ownership but is having a hard time making the first step, this 911 S is the perfect way to dip your toe in the world. Offering great flat-6 performance and noise, paired with top-off enjoyment, this 911 Targa is ready to be driven and enjoyed for years to come. Key Features

    $0 Inquire

The BMW E9 is one of the brand’s most stunning designs – with its massive greenhouse and subtle curves, it sits towards the top of the list of desirable BMWs. In 1971, BMW upgraded the 2800CS to the 3.0CS and 3.0CSi. Now powered by the company’s large 3.0-liter inline 6, the 3.0 coupe could be ordered in CS trim with carburetors, or CSi, with cutting edge Bosch electronic fuel injection. Producing an additional 20 horsepower over the CS for a total of 200, the injected CSi offered fast, luxurious long-distance cruising and looked incredible doing it.

This 1975 BMW 3.0 CSi has been comprehensively restored to an extremely high standard. Finished in Fjord Blue over tan leather, to call the car immaculate almost feels like it is underselling it. Although 1975 cars in the United States were fitted with the less-than attractive “diving board” bumpers, this car has been retrofitted with the slimmer European style units that work perfectly with the overall design of the car. Another thing that draws the eye is the gorgeous set of Alpina 21-spoke wheels which are a classic and very sought-after upgrade for this model.

For anybody familiar with BMW’s big coupes from the 80s and 90s, the interior of this car will have some similarities to the later 6 and 8 series cars. A pair of large, comfortable bucket seats up front, with two nicely sculpted seats in the rear. On this example, the tan leather is essentially immaculate and looks to have barely been sat in since completing the restoration. Slide behind the 3-spoke Nardi wood and metal steering wheel and you are met by white-on-black gauges, inset in a beautiful wood dashboard.

Open the front-hinged hood and you will see the 3.0-liter M30 inline-6. The M30 was an engine that could be found in BMWs for more than 20 years, appearing in its final car in 1995. You can tell this is a CSi thanks to the unique 6-runner intake and throttle position sensor by the air box. Producing 200 horsepower, this engine sent power through a 4-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. The overall condition of the engine bay on this car is remarkable and has clearly been professionally finished to show-car standards.

In 1975, BMW produced just 555 3.0 CSi cars, marking its lowest production year and the final year of the model entirely. This example comes with a sizable restoration binder showing all of the work completed along with invoices, proving how comprehensively the car has been refinished.

This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is a lovely example of a 996 that can be enjoyed year round. Finished in triple black, this Carrera 4 checks all the boxes, offered with a factory removable hard top, fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission and benefiting from a recent clutch and new IMS. Showing 108,508 miles at the time of cataloging, the exterior presents very nicely, with minimal wear and sits on a set of 17-inch 5-spoke wheels.

On the interior, all four seats along with the steering wheel and shift boot are wrapped in black leather. An upgraded stereo head unit with an LCD screen and Bluetooth capabilities has been fitted in place of the standard unit for modern functionality and usability.

Powering this Carrera 4 is a 3.4-liter M96 water cooled flat-6 that produces 300 horsepower and makes an incredible sound. In this example, the IMS was changed in 12/2022 along with a sizable service that included a new clutch, new spark plugs and a new rear crankshaft oil seal. Power is sent through a 6-speed manual transaxle to all four wheels.

    $39,914

MiamiIn the late 1960s, Porsche wanted to replace the brand’s entry-level 912 with a sports car that wasn’t quite so closely tied to its halo product – the 911. Still relying on the stout air-cooled flat-4 that kickstarted the brand with the 356, the new car was to integrate more straight lines and flat panels that were both of the moment, and easier to manufacture. When the 914 debuted in 1969, its wide, boxy look was like nothing else on the road and was lauded for its mid-engined handling and ultra-lightweight construction, coming in at less than 2,100 lbs.

This 1975 Porsche 914 benefits from a recent restoration that included a stunning respray in the modern Porsche color of Miami Blue. Originally finished in black, this color looks period correct on the 914’s boxy shape and works wonderfully with the combination of black and stainless trim around the vehicle. Sitting on a set of polished and black Fuchs wheels, this 914 was upgraded with a 5-lug conversion during the restoration, which makes for improved wheel selection and the ability to add better brakes if desired. As with all roadgoing 914s, this car benefits from a removable targa roof that fits in the rear luggage area and makes for spectacular open-air motoring when the weather is nice.

The interior is equally as eye-catching as the exterior, upgraded with tartan centers in both seats that really uplift the otherwise monotone interior. Drop down into the driver’s seat, and a large diameter 4-spoke steering wheel meets you with a leather wrap on the rim, and a Porsche crest emblem affixed to the center. This frames a 3-gauge cluster with a large central tachometer, speedometer to your right, and a combination gauge with fuel and warning lights to your left. The custom leather-wrapped center console has another trio of gauges with a clock, vehicle temperature gauge, and a voltmeter to ensure the vehicle is operating at its peak.

Powered by a hot-rodded 1.8-liter flat-4, this 914 benefits from a Weber carburetor conversion, which replaces the difficult to tune early fuel injection system that originally came on the car. The engine was built by an official Porsche dealership, which added better flowing 2.0-liter heads, along with a number of other performance parts, including a freer flowing 4-tip exhaust. This sends power through a 5-speed manual transaxle to the rear wheels. As a later 914, the gearbox is one of the desirable “side shift” units, which was introduced in 1973. These are known for more precise throws and better shift feel. The 914 is still quite underrated in the classic Porsche world, and they represent fantastic value when compared to 911s of a similar vintage. As the weather is getting warmer, there are few things more enjoyable than sliding behind the wheel of a classic Porsche with the targa roof off and going for a drive – and this car is ready to go!

The Porsche 993 holds a special place in the hearts of car lovers. As the end of Porsche’s air-cooled era, the 993 represents the ultimate in air-cooled refinement and performance, while retaining the charm that made the world fall in love with the 911 30 years before its debut. Powered by a 3.6-liter flat-6 the 993 Carrera produces 270 horsepower and is best enjoyed when connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.

This 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera is a lovely example, finished in one of the 993’s most famous colors- Arena Red. Widely remembered from the 993 Turbo’s “Kills Bugs Fast” advertising campaign, the deep wine red metallic debuted in the 993 generation and is the color most closely linked to the car. In this example, it is paired with a Marble Gray leather interior, offering a nice contrast to the dark exterior. A longtime Washington car, this 993 Carrera is both stunning to look at and an absolute pleasure to drive.

When Porsche first showed the Cayenne SUV, enthusiasts of the brand’s sports cars saw it as the brand losing its way. But in reality, the Cayenne saved the brand from bankruptcy and quickly became its most popular product. Moving into the 2010s, the sedan market was rapidly shrinking and being taken up by crossover SUVs of all sizes. Wanting to take advantage of this evolving market, in 2014, Porsche first showed its new midsize SUV that was designed to slot in below the Cayenne – known as the Macan. Although it shared some architecture with the Audi Q5, the driving experience was completely dialed in by Porsche engineers to give it its own unique feeling. The result is likely the best balanced and most fun to drive crossover on the market, and in typical Porsche fashion, it is available in numerous trim levels and with loads of available options.

This 2017 Macan was specified in GTS trim and is finished in black over a red leather interior. Under the care of just one owner, this car shows 92,000 miles and was sold new at Porsche of Beverly Hills before making its way to Washington State in May of 2020. The GTS trim on the Macan sits between the S and Turbo and is designed as the most sporting variant of the car, with body color cladding on the exterior, black badging and the more heavily bolstered 12-way adjustable front seats which feature both heating and ventilation. Sitting on a set of RS-Spyder 20” wheels in silver, the car is currently fitted with Michelin Latitude Touring HP tires. This Macan was optioned with adjustable air suspension, as well as auto-leveling Xenon headlamps and a Bose high end surround sound system. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 produces 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque which is sent through a 7-speed PDK gearbox to all four wheels. Although largely standard, the car benefits from upgraded carbon fiber mirror caps as well as carbon fiber shift paddle extenders which give it a bit more sporting feel. We at Dobson Stuttgart have been looking after this car for more than 50,000 miles and have performed numerous services including replacing both front and rear brakes, as well as a coolant reservoir replacement and multiple oil changes. Even nearly 8 years after it was produced, the Macan GTS is still one of the most enjoyable small SUVs from behind the wheel and is the perfect “do everything” car.

    Pending

The Porsche 930 Turbo was the brand’s first foray into forced-induction road cars and became an icon in the process. Recognizable by its large “tea-tray” decklid spoiler and swollen rear arches, the 930 offered performance on-par or better than contemporary Italian exotics, but with the practicality and dependability Porsche is known for. The turbocharged wallop of power seemingly came in all at once which proved for an exciting drive and earned the car the nickname of “widowmaker” in its prime. A benefit of the Turbo is also the promise of additional power with just a few simple parts – or a lot more when fully built.

This 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo is finished in Guards Red and benefits from a host of both mechanical and body modifications. On the exterior, changes include a new, integrated 964-style front bumper, which is paired with a matching rear bumper and 993 GT2-Style engine lid. The car sits lower than stock on a set of 5-spoke Fikse wheels which are painted black which goes with the Red/Black color scheme of the car. Sitting behind the Fikse wheels are a set of upgraded brakes with red calipers and drilled rotors.

On the interior, the black and red theme continues with custom-upholstered seats with black outers and red centers, finished in German leather. A red lower center console has been fitted, and a red and black Momo shift knob sits atop the shift lever. The steering wheel is also from Momo and it’s a simple 3-spoke Prototipo-style with a dish to it which, when paired with a new wheel-hub, brings the steering wheel closer to the driver. In the center console, a pair of gauges have been added – one for boost pressure, and the other for air-fuel ratio.

The 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-6 was completely rebuilt and converted from Bosch CIS to electronic fuel injection and tuned by EFI 930 specialists Turbo Craft of Phoenix, AZ in April 2015. Using an Electromotive Tec GT engine management system with crank-fire ignition and new Siemens injectors, the car runs smooth, and boosts more progressively thanks in part to the new Precision billet wheel ball bearing turbocharger. New Billy Boat headers and heat exchangers were fitted with a pair of custom 46mm Tial wastegates, and a full custom exhaust out the back. To keep the charge air cool, a custom larger intercooler was also fitted atop the engine with the ends matched to the car’s exterior color. Dyno sheets indicate a frankly astonishing 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque – when you consider the original car had just over 270 hp, this car is a monster. Another massive addition is the installation of a G50 5-speed manual transmission in place of the standard 4-speed unit. With improved shift feel and better ratios, the G50 was only available from Porsche in the 1989 930 and comes at a significant premium.

If you have always loved the look of the Porsche 930, but felt like the performance just wasn’t quite enough for you, this fully built Turbo would very likely change that. A truly thrilling car, this EFI-converted 930 is set up to be enjoyed flat out and looks like nothing else on the road.

This 2008 Porsche Cayman is finished in black over black heated leather and shows just 46,400 miles. Under the care of three owners from new, the car was sold new in Ohio, where it remained until being purchased by the Washington-based consignor in 2021. Since arriving in Washington, the car has been cared for exclusively by our service department and benefits from a recent oil and filter change. The car sits on a set of 19” Cayman S wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps, which are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Up front, an optional set of Xenon headlights offer excellent visibility in all conditions. Inside, the black leather interior has been upgraded with a modern Pioneer head unit which offers modern phone connectivity capabilities.

Powering this Cayman is a 2.7-liter water cooled flat 6 that produces 242 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque. When run through the car’s 5-speed manual gearbox, this makes for a 5.8 second 0-60 mph run and a top speed in excess of 160 mph. What the Cayman is really known for is its agile handling thanks to the mid-mounted engine, making it a much easier car to drive spiritedly, than the rear-engined 911.

The 987 generation Cayman offers tremendous value as a fun, well built driver’s car, offering a driving experience that many say meets or even surpasses that of many 911s that cost significantly more. This example is offered in an appealing color combination, with some great options and recent servicing meaning it is ready to be enjoyed.

    SOLD

When Porsche first displayed the 901 (later known as the 911), enthusiasts were disappointed by the heavier engine and higher price tag, compared to the outgoing 356. In listening to these critiques, Porsche developed a middle ground, producing a 911 that was powered by a variant of the flat-4 found in the 356, which could be offered at a significantly lower price point. Known as the 912, these were built between 1965 and 1969, and became known for its tremendous efficiency and neutral handling thanks to the smaller engine sitting more inboard in the chassis.

This 1967 Porsche 912 is finished in black over black and presents as wonderful driver’s quality example. The 912 utilizes that classic early 911 shape, with chrome trim on the window surrounds, bumpers, rear engine grille and script on the rear decklid. This trim looks outstanding when paired with the 15” Fuchs 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires to complete the vintage look. Additional features on this car include a set of under-bumper fog lights, and a driver’s side side-view mirror.

The overall condition inside is very good with new-looking correct black vinyl covering the front comfort seats and two rear passenger seats. Drop into the driver’s seat and you’re met with a 4-spoke steering wheel that frames a classic Porsche 5-gauge dash layout. With a large central tachometer, a speedometer and clock to the right along with oil temp and fuel gauge to the left. All finished in fantastic green-on-black, with chrome rings that really give off that vintage feel. Otherwise, the interior is quite simple with no radio, and heater controls between the seats.

Powering the 912 is a 1.6-liter air-cooled flat 4 that produces right around 100 horsepower. Although very similar to the flat-4 that was used in the final 356 SC, Porsche engineers decided for the 912 to sacrifice a bit of top-end for additional torque lower in the rev range. Breathing through a pair of Solex carburetors, this 912 drives well and sends power through a 4-speed manual transaxle to the rear wheels. In September, Dobson Stuttgart replaced the carb floats for easier starting, and did a fluid service on the car, along with a detail and wheel straightening, meaning this car is ready to drive and be enjoyed.

    SOLD

The 356 was Porsche’s first production sports car and the vehicle that introduced the Porsche name to the world. Built between 1948 and 1965, the 356 was split into 4 different variations over its 17 year run. Starting with simply the 356 – also known as a “Pre-A,” it was followed up by the 356 A, 356 B and 356 C – all with different sub-variations within those generations. Enthusiasts all have their preference for which 356 was the best, with some liking the lightweight, de-contented Pre-A cars, while others prefer the later B or Cs, for their added refinement and additional power.

This 1960 356 is from the “B” series, and is finished in a striking color combination of silver over a blue interior. Under the care of a single owner for the last 40 years, this car is a great driver and benefits from servicing at Dobson Stuttgart over the last handful of years. As a 356 B, the design was altered with a slightly flatter front end design, revised bumpers, and new taillights along with a host of other differences, aimed at meeting American regulations.

The interior is beautifully simple, with a pair of blue bucket seats up front and two seats in the rear. The dash pad is the same blue as the seats, while the dash matches the car’s exterior. Slide behind the large 3-spoke steering wheel and you are met by an attractive set of green-on-black gauges that are reminiscent of early 911 dials with a central tachometer, speedometer to the right and combination fuel level and oil temperature gauge to the left. An AM/FM stereo is fitted in-dash and sound comes from a set of upgraded Sony speakers placed near the front foot wells.

Powering this 356 is a 1.6-liter air cooled flat 4. According to the owner, it was rebuilt in about 2010 by Morris Brothers in Salt Lake City. It produces approximately 60 horsepower and 81 lb-ft of torque. Breathing through a pair of Zenith downdraft carburetors, this engine runs and drives wonderfully and provides plenty of power to cruise at the speed of modern traffic. Power is then sent through a 4-speed manual transaxle to the rear wheels. Under the car, a fresh set of Koni shock absorbers provide a sporting ride that isn’t punishing on bumpy roads.

The 356 is a crucial piece of Porsche history and remains one of the nicest driving and most solidly built classic cars out there. This example is a great driver that runs wonderfully and would make the perfect classic for rallies and touring.

Of Porsche’s many claims to fame, one of the most significant is their early adoption of turbocharging. Although they weren’t the first, they quickly saw the potential in forced induction and via its racing and road cars, made significant strides in perfecting the technology. In 2015, Porsche made what might be considered their biggest investment in turbocharging yet, converting every 911 model aside from the GT3 to forced induction. Known as the 991.2, this decision was initially met with criticism, but as soon as people got behind the wheel of these new Carreras, it became clear why they made the shift. Power was now available throughout the rev-range with maximum torque available just off idle, which made the car faster around town and far more versatile.

This 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 was sold new in Los Angeles, California and has been a lifelong west coast car, coming to the Seattle area in 2019 with its third owner. Finished in black over black leather, this 911 shows 78,885 miles and has been serviced by main dealers and well respected independent service facilities since new. The 991.2 features revised styling on the front and rear fascias and a new engine lid grille, which helps tip off the car’s turbocharged powerplant. This example is outfitted with features including Xenon dynamic cornering headlights, auto dimming mirrors, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) along with front and rear ParkAssist with a reversing camera.

The interior is wrapped in black leather and also received a minor update with the 2015 refresh – most notably, a more attractive and comfortable 3-spoke steering wheel. This example was ordered with 14-way power sport seats that are heated, and a premium stereo system was also fitted.

Powering the Carrera is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-6 that produces 365 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 332 lb-ft of torque from 1,700 to 5,000 rpm. This flat torque curve makes for remarkable in-gear acceleration and is perfect for the enthusiast who wants a daily driver sports car. When fitted with the 7-speed PDK double clutch gearbox like this car, the Carrera is capable of 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and a top speed in excess of 180 mph – previously this sort of performance would be 911 Turbo territory, so being able to access it from behind the wheel of a Carrera is thrilling.

  • 2009 Porsche 997 Targa 4S

    • 72,400 mi
    • PDK Dual-clutch 7-speed automatic
    SOLD

Although these days a 911 Cabriolet is a common sight on the roads, it took nearly twenty years after the 911’s debut for Porsche to produce one. With the threat of convertibles being banned looming in the mid-1960s, Porsche took a different path for its customers to enjoy open air motoring. They developed a removable roof panel known as the “Targa” top which offered a similar sensation to top-down driving, but with a sturdy structure behind the occupants in case of a rollover. This became one of the brand’s most popular models and has evolved along with the rest of the 911 range. With the introduction of the 993 Targa, Porsche did away with the removable panel, instead fitting the 911 with a large panoramic glass roof which had a power retracting feature, making it so even when the roof was in place, it felt like you were out in the open. This carried through all the way to the 997-generation car and is one of the least common variants of each respective era.

This 2009 Porsche 911 Targa 4S is a stunning example finished in the desirable shade of Macadamia Metallic, over a Sand Beige leather interior. As a 2009, this is the first of the “997.2” generation which means it was built with the coveted DFI engine, and instead of the earlier Tiptronic gearbox, it received a 7-speed PDK dual clutch unit. At the time of cataloging, the car shows 72,XXX miles and is believed to have been under the care of just two owners from new. Initially sold through Porsche of Salt Lake City, the car has lived in Utah, and was imported to Canada where it was based in both Edmonton, AB and Victoria, BC, before coming to Washington in 2021. The unique metallic brown color was a rarely selected choice on the 997 but matches the shape incredibly well and is complimented on the exterior by a set of 19” Carrera II wheels and the 4S signature full-width rear brakelight.

On the interior, the Sand Beige leather seats are heated and power adjustable in front, and an upgraded Sport Design steering wheel has been fitted while the original 3-spoke unit is included. From the factory, this car came very well equipped with features like the Sport Chrono Plus Package, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, Park Assist and the Porsche Communication Management head unit which received updated software in 2022.

Powering this Targa 4S is a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-6 with direct fuel injection. Thanks to the VarioCam Plus system, these engines produce 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque which, when connected to the 7-speed PDK, can run from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of nearly 180 mph. The engine received new spark plugs and ignition coils in 2023 and a fresh oil service earlier this year. As a 4S, this car is fitted with all-wheel drive, meaning that it is a great all weather sportscar and could easily be used as a daily driver for the whole year in the Pacific Northwest.

This 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa is finished in Moss Green Metallic over a tan interior with tartan fabric inserts. 1980 was the second year for the SC or “Super Carrera” and is powered by a 3.0-liter air-cooled flat 6 engine. Showing 70,034 miles at the time of cataloging, this Targa presents in excellent condition, which is enhanced by the unusual and appealing color combination. This car benefits from ownership by a member of the local Porsche Club Northwest region and has clearly been well kept from new. SOLD

This 2008 Porsche Cayman is finished in Speed Yellow and shows 64,735 miles. Originally sold out of a dealership in New York, this car’s first owner was based in Southern California and has been a west coast car from new. Equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, this car sits on a set of 19” Carrera S “Lobster Claws” wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires. Overall the car is in remarkably good condition and this uncommon shade of yellow works really well with the 987-generation Cayman design, making the car look remarkably exotic.

The interior is finished in gray with leather wrapped seats that are also heated. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a three-gauge cluster with a 175-mph speedometer, 8,000 rpm tach with a 7,250 rpm redline and both a fuel level and temperature gauge are all clearly laid out in front of you. Cruise control was optioned from the factory, as was rain sensing wipers.

Powering this Cayman is a naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat 6 that produces 245 horsepower thanks to the addition of VarioCam Plus in 2007. When connected to the 5-speed manual gearbox, this car is capable of 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph. Where the Cayman shines is in its mid-engined balance and thrilling possibility in the corners and this car is a prime example of that! If you’re looking for your first entry into the world of Porsche or want a fun car that could be used every day, this Cayman is an excellent choice.

  • 2006 Porsche Boxster

    • 87,700 mi
    • 5-speed Automatic
    SOLD

With the runaway success of Porsche’s first generation 986 Boxster, enthusiasts wondered how the brand could better it for the next iteration. In 2005, the company put the new 987 generation on sale and its improvements were undeniable. Revised, slightly more aggressive styling to match the also new 997 generation 911, paired with a heavily revised interior and improved drivetrain took the Boxster name to the next level.

This 2006 Boxster was built in September of 2005 and is a lifelong Seattle-area car. Finished in Seal Gray Metallic over a black leather interior, this Tiptronic-equipped Boxster shows 87,656 miles at the time of cataloging. Very well equipped from the factory, this Boxster was ordered with heated seats, rain sensing wipers, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), a BOSE Sound System and Homelink garage door opener. Since new, this car has been well maintained at both franchise dealerships, and respected independent Porsche-focused shops, and first started coming to Dobson Stuttgart for Service in March of 2020. Since that time, we have completed numerous oil changes, and all of the brakes have been replaced within the last 6,000 miles.

The “base” specification Boxster for the 987 generation is still a remarkably quick and fun-to-drive car. Its 2.7-liter naturally aspirated flat 6 produces 237 horsepower which, when connected to the Tiptronic S gearbox, is capable of 0-60 in 7.1 seconds and a top speed in excess of 150 mph. The Tiptronic 5-speed automatic offers every day usability, but also lets you have fun when the roads get curvy thanks to a manual shifting mode with steering-wheel mounted shift buttons. If you’re looking for a great first Porsche or a car that you can use in traffic and still have fun on the weekends, it’s hard to do much better than a 987 Boxster. This example benefits from significant maintenance over the years and is nicely optioned, making it a great choice and fantastic value.

  • 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

    • 35,500 mi
    • 5-speed manual
    SOLD

The Porsche 944 was designed as a less expensive way into Porsche ownership. With a watercooled inline-4 up front, four seats and a transaxle providing perfect 50/50 weight distribution, it didn’t take long for enthusiasts to realize that this entry level offering punched far above its weight when it came to driving enjoyment. But if there was one critique the 944 faced from the beginning, it was that it just wasn’t quite fast enough. So, in 1986, Porsche debuted a turbocharged model, known as either the 944 Turbo or, using the internal chassis code – 951. In the US, the Turbo gave the 944 an additional 70 horsepower, and also gave the car improved Brembo brakes, different aerodynamics, and a stronger gearbox.

This 1986 944 Turbo is a very early production example, built in September of 1985. Finished in Zermatt Silver Metallic, this car shows just 35,500 miles and is in remarkable condition. The first owner of this car was clearly a driving enthusiast, choosing only the options that would make the car more fun to drive fast, and little else. One unique aspect of the 1986 944 Turbo is that it was the only year that you could order the optional 16” Fuchs wheels that are seen on this car. Legendary for being fitted to countless 911s and early 944s, these 5-spoke wheels feature a black anodized center, with a silver lip, and give the car a more classic look than the later wheel options on the car.

The interior is also quite unique in that, where most 944 Turbos were fully optioned with leather, this car was ordered with cloth sport seats. These heavily bolstered seats do an impressive job of holding you in place – regardless of the material they’re wrapped in – but with the rare cloth, you aren’t moving at all. The door panels are upholstered in the same material and the steering wheel was optioned with the 30mm elevated hub for an improved driving position.

Powering the 944 Turbo is a 2.5-liter turbocharged and intercooled inline-4 that was rated when new at 217 horsepower. The Turbo was uprated in numerous places mechanically, including a stronger gearbox with an altered final drive ratio, and external oil coolers for the engine and gearbox (which was only fitted in 1986). Stiffer springs were installed in the suspension and Brembo 4-piston brakes from a 911 were fitted at all four corners – meaning that the Turbo wasn’t just faster in a straight line but had the handling chops to match.

In 1986 just over 7,500 944 Turbos made their way to the United States and few have been kept as nice as this example. If you have been searching for a near preservation quality example of Porsche’s beloved front-engined sports car, this is a perfect example.

    SOLD

This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera is a stunning example from the 996 generation finished in Arctic Silver Metallic. Showing 75,700 miles, this 6-speed manual equipped car has been kept in remarkable condition and was under single ownership for the last 20 years. A lifelong Washington car, the CarFax shows service entries from Porsche of Bellevue, that includes an engine replacement in 2005 at just over 20,000 miles.

Those who are fans of the 996 will immediately spot the unique AeroKit upgrades that this car benefits from, including the side skirts, rear wing, front bumper and rear bumper add-ons. Although not factory-fitted, these pieces are exceptionally difficult to source today and prices really start to add up when you outfit your car to this degree. Additionally, 10-spoke multi-piece BBS wheels have been sourced, which complete the look and are the same wheels Porsche fit to the first generation Europe-only 996 GT3.

The black leather interior is exactly what you want in a 996 as well, black leather factory sport seats with leather backs, and the fantastic-feeling 3-spoke steering wheel. Laid out in front of you is the classic 5-gauge dashboard with a large central tachometer with a 7,000 rpm redline. In the center console, an upgraded Kenwood stereo has been fitted with USB, Bluetooth and AUX compatibility.

Powering this Carrera is a 3.4-liter water-cooled flat-6 that produces 300 horsepower at 6,800 rpm. This sends power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle. As previously mentioned, this car benefits from an engine replacement at Porsche of Bellevue in 2005, about 55,000 miles ago and is one of the strongest running 996s we have driven. The car idles smoothly and is as happy sitting in traffic as it is winding all the way to redline. Shifting is smooth and clutch take up is exactly what you would want – although the car is going on 25 years old, it feels as tight as the day it rolled out of the showroom.

This 2001 Porsche 911 996 Turbo is a remarkable example, showing just over 42,000 miles from new. Finished in black over natural tan leather, this uniquely optioned example is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission and presents in excellent condition. The 996 Turbo was the first of the water-cooled Turbos and is famous for its remarkably stout “Mezger” flat 6. This engine is derived from the motors in the 911 GT1 race cars, and is renowned for its dependability and ability to hold significant amounts of power. That being said, even in stock form, putting out 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter is extremely rapid and, in a world filled with 1,000 horsepower electric cars, makes for an exciting driving experience. The 997 Porsche 911 was the brand’s second generation of water-cooling their iconic sports car. Many enthusiasts regard the 997 as the perfect “modern” 911, for its usability, driving enjoyment and overall size. Its round headlights and stunning wide rear bodywork on the “S” variants, paired with an updated, luxurious interior, the 997 could go on sale today and still look like a contemporary design. As the 911 has gone on to become larger and more grand-touring focused, the 997 is a perfect size for even tight backroad driving, while still offering plenty of interior and luggage space for a road trip.

This 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is a beautiful example finished in Atlas Gray over a Black leather interior. Showing 72,850 miles, this 6-speed manual equipped convertible is well optioned, and has been properly maintained since new. First sold through Porsche Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois in September of 2005, this 911 spent time in Illinois and Nevada, before coming to Washington in 2015. Sitting on SportDesign 19-inch wheels, the car features a power retractable soft top in black cloth, optional Xenon headlights and an outstanding sounding factory sport exhaust system.

Inside, the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, door cards and center console are wrapped in black leather, with the seat headrests featuring an embossed Porsche logo. The optional Bose high end stereo has been fitted in this car, with 12-speakers, 7-individual channels and 325 watts of output, this is a welcome addition for top-down motoring and provides remarkably clear sound quality.

Powering the Carrera S is a 3.8-liter Flat 6 that is rated from the factory at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In this example, it is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission with a factory short shifter. Handling is aided by Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), giving the car electronic damper control and Porsche Stability Management (PSM) to help keep you out of trouble when driving fast.

Dobson Stuttgart has looked after this car since 2019, and most recently in November of 2024, we completed a brake fluid flush, fuel system cleaning and an oil service. The 981 generation Cayman represents one of the great performance values in the world of Porsche today. Upon its debut in March of 2012, the second generation Cayman leaned on the styling language of the recently released 991 911 and 918 Spyder, and looked like a supercar at a more affordable price. Although slightly bigger than its 987 predecessor, the 981 dropped more than 75 lbs when compared to a similarly equipped 987, and offered both improved performance and far more in-car technology.

This 2014 Porsche Cayman is a beautiful one-owner example finished in Speed Yellow, that has covered just 38,600 miles from new. First sold through Audi Nashua in Nashua, New Hampshire, the car only spent its first three years on the east coast, before moving to Washington in September 2016. We have serviced this car at Dobson Stuttgart since 2019 and most recently completed a full inspection and oil service in April of 2025. Sitting on a set of 19” Boxster S wheels, other exterior options include rear model designation delete and sport tailpipes.

The interior of this Cayman is wrapped in Platinum Gray leather and was optioned with heated manual sport seats. A 3-spoke sport steering wheel was also optioned, which feels great in the hands and moves the paddle shifters for the 7-speed PDK gearbox from thumb buttons, to paddles behind the wheel. Additionally, auto dimming mirrors have been fitted along with a Homelink garage door opener.

Powering this Cayman is a 2.7-liter naturally aspirated flat-6 that produces 261 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. When paired with the 7-Speed PDK transmission in this car, 0-60 happens in just 5.4 seconds and the top speed is in excess of 160 mph. Although it is no slouch in a straight line, where the Caymans have always really shined was in the corners – and this car is no exception. What makes this car so great is that if you buy it as a weekend toy, you won’t be disappointed – but if you decide you want to daily drive it, it will be just as at home doing that. If you are looking for one car to do everything, the 981 Cayman may be the perfect car for you.

  • 2015 BMW M3 Sedan

    • 56,850 mi
    • 7-Speed Automatic
    SOLD

First developed as a homologation car in the E30 generation, the M3 has long stood as the ultimate intersection between everyday practicality and sporty driving characteristics. When BMW showed its fifth-generation M3 in 2013, it was the first time that the coupe and sedan had been broken up with their own model names, with the M3 being the four-door, and the M4 the two-door variant. This also represented the first M3 to come from the factory with forced induction, utilizing twin-turbochargers on its 3.0-liter inline 6. Without a doubt, the F80 generation was one of the most attractive BMW sedans the brand had ever produced, and with this new engine, it was capable of 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Although horsepower was only raised by 11 over the outgoing E90 generation, the torque was up more than 110 lb-ft and all of the power was available much earlier in the rev range, resulting in a 0-60 sprint of just 3.9 seconds.

This 2015 BMW M3 is finished in one of the launch colors for the car – Austin Yellow Metallic – and shows 56,842 miles at the time of cataloging. Sold new through BMW of Houston in October 2014, this M3 spent time in Texas before coming to Washington in October 2020. Sitting on the optional 19” twin-5-spoke wheels in beautiful black and polished two-tone, which pairs perfectly with the high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, this M3 features a great list of desirable options and a full service history. The interior is wrapped in black Merino leather and fitted with seat and steering wheel heaters, upgraded Harman Kardon stereo, and a head-up display. Comfort Access offers keyless entry, while Surround View, Park Distance Control and a reversing camera make parking simple.

The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 has received thorough servicing throughout its life at both BMW main dealers and respected independent shops, and runs strong. Optioned with the 7-speed M-DCT dual-clutch gearbox, this M3 offers lightning-fast shifts, but is pleasant to drive in traffic, making this truly the ultimate do anything vehicle. If you are looking for a car that stands out from the crowd and is equally at home on the track as it is driving to work, this F80 M3 is a hard car to beat.

    SOLD

The Porsche 996-generation 911 saw the continuation of the Carrera 4S trim, which had debuted on the outgoing 993. This was seen as a perfect blend of naturally aspirated performance, paired with numerous desirable bits from the 996 Turbo. These include wider rear fenders, more powerful brakes with corresponding red calipers, Turbo suspension and the all-important Turbo-Twist wheels. Additionally, a Turbo front bumper and red strip between the taillights gave the Carrera 4S (or C4S to Porsche fans) a look all its own and one that people still hold in high regard as one of the most attractive 996s.

This 2004 Carrera 4S was delivered new to dealership The Collection in Coral Gables, FL in December of 2003, and remained in Florida until coming to Washington in 2018. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a Graphite Gray interior, the car shows 56,309 miles at the time of cataloging and benefits from some recent servicing. The black paint looks stunning on the wide rear fenders and is improved further by the facelifted 996 chrome headlights and smoked tails – which are now paired with matching clear corner marker lights. On the interior, Graphite Gray leather covers the seats, door cards, steering wheel and shifter, and the carpets and dashboard are finished to match. The wonderful feeling 3-spoke steering wheel frames the 996’s take on Porsche’s famed 5-gauge dashboard, and the center stack retains the original Bose hi-fi system.

Powering the 996 Carrera 4S is a 3.6-Liter version of Porsche’s M96 water-cooled flat-6. In the C4S, it was good for 320 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 273 lb-ft of torque at 4,250 rpm while making that wonderful 996 sound. This then sends power to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The wonder of this all-wheel drive system is that in nearly every situation, the front wheels only receive 5% of the engine’s power, but when slip is detected, up to 40% can make its way forward, meaning this is an exceptionally capable sports car for all weather conditions. The 996 is a great entry into the world of the 911 and the Carrera 4S is without a doubt, one of the most special cars to come from that generation. This example is offered in an appealing color combination and with considerable recent service history.

The M-Sport package also fits the vehicle with dynamic suspension that features multiple drive modes that allow you to tune the chassis for sportier driving characteristics.

For the driver looking to add a new daily driver to the fleet, or a comfortable rig to bring your race car to the track (6,000 lb towing capacity), this X5 is an outstanding option. With dealer servicing from new and a lifelong Seattle-area history, the car is ready for whatever trip you have in mind.

    SOLD

With over 60 years of production to choose from, every enthusiast has their favorite take on the Porsche 911. From the lightweight, short wheelbase early cars to the newest, tech-filled 992 generation, there is a generation to suit every driving style. But, if there was one generation that almost anybody can agree is an all-time great, it is the 997.2 built between 2009 and 2012. The entire 997 lineage is held up for its combination of classic size and simplicity, paired with enough modern technology to still feel relevant – even today more than 20 years after its debut. The .2 received a new direct fuel injection motor that improved reliability and increased power, and the subtle visual updates were welcome additions as well.

This 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet was sold new at Barrier Porsche in Bellevue, WA in February 2010 and has been a life-long western Washington car. Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic Over a Black full leather interior, this 6-speed manual equipped car came with a hefty $116,960 MSRP when new, and currently shows 35,903 miles. On the exterior, a set of 19” Carrera S II Wheels were ordered, as was the deletion of the model designation in the rear. The black full leather interior was ordered with the Bose high-end surround sound, along with the PCM navigation module, Bluetooth and a universal audio interface, meaning that hooking up a phone to play music is a simple process. Both front seats feature not just power adjustment but heating and the rarely selected seat ventilation, and the door entry guards are finished in stainless steel.

Powering this Carrera S is the desirable direct fuel injection 3.8 liter water cooled flat-6. In “S” trim, this engine produces 380 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and features an integrated dry-sump oiling system that allows the engine to sit 10mm lower in the chassis and ensures even oiling in fast corners. The 997.2 Carrera S saw a 25 horsepower bump over the outgoing Carrera S, and the new motor does away with the IMS issue that can become problematic in early water cooled Porsches. With this new engine, 0-60 mph happens in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is nearly 190 mph. One of the many reasons these cars are still so sought after is that they were the final 911s to be produced with hydraulic power steering, which is far more talkative and engaging than the electric unit that followed it. Only produced for three years, the 997.2 is a difficult generation to find – and finding one in this stunning Midnight Blue Metallic, with a manual transmission and low miles makes it even more appealing. With warm weather just around the corner, there are few more enjoyable 911s to put in your garage than this car.

Porsche is a company that built its road-car legacy on the rear engined 911 and its predecessor the 356. That being said, many of the brand’s most successful racing cars have had their engines mounted in the middle of the car, and the more affordable 914 offered in the 1970s, was many enthusiast’s entry to the brand. As Porsche was struggling through the early 1990s, one of the strokes of genius was the 1993 Boxster Concept that made the rounds on the motor show circuit that year. The first car to be designed as a bespoke roadster since the 550 Spyder, the Boxster Concept offered a stunning shape, appealing flat-6 engines and was to be offered at a price well below a base 911. With the concept drumming up considerable buzz, Porsche developed a production-ready car that was remarkably close to the concept aesthetically, and went on sale in 1996. Known internally as the 986 chassis, the first generation Boxster was a turning point for Porsche financially and instantly became the brand’s top seller until the release of the Cayenne in 2003.

This 1998 Boxster is essentially a life-long Seattle-area car, coming up from California when it was just over a year and a half old. At the time of cataloging, the car shows 160,334 miles but is in excellent mechanical condition thanks to the recent installation of a low-mileage engine by Dobson Stuttgart. Finished in Arctic Silver with a black soft top, this Boxster sits on a set of 17” Boxster-twist wheels. The exterior is in largely good condition but does show an expected amount of wear for a car of this age. On the inside, it features the the black leather interior.

The newly-installed engine is a 2.5-liter M96 Flat-6 that is rated from the factory at 201 horsepower and allows the Boxster to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds. Although this may not be the most powerful engine to come from Porsche, it is widely regarded as one of the best sounding, with exceptional intake noise coming from the side intakes when you accelerate. This engine is then paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox which sends power through a factory limited-slip differential to the rear wheels. This Boxster is the ultimate summer fun car that offers affordable top-down motoring, with a great look, ultra-low mile engine and a nice shifting 5-speed manual – all sure to put a smile on your face every time you go for a drive.

The 986-generation Boxster signaled Porsche’s return to a mid-engine layout for the first time in a road car since the 914. An instant hit, the Boxster quickly became one of the brand’s best selling sports cars and offered enthusiasts a fun driving experience, with a significant discount over a contemporary 911.

This 2002 Boxster S is finished in Black with a black leather interior and a 6-speed manual transmission from the factory. The 986 Boxster S came from the factory with a 3.2-liter water cooled flat-6 that was good for 247 horsepower. Under previous ownership, this car’s engine was custom built to 3.8-liters with custom Traum pistons, Carillo connecting rods and an upgraded IMS bearing. Exact power figures aren’t known but this is one of the most exciting Boxsters we have ever driven. Since completion of this engine rebuild, the car has been driven less than 5,000 miles and remains in overall excellent condition.

It is no secret that Porsche’s Cayenne saved the brand from dire financial straits and started them down the road they are on today as one of the world’s most profitable automakers. But if the Cayenne started that trend, the Macan turbocharged it and has been Porsche’s best selling model since its introduction in 2015. A perfect combination of practicality, top-notch quality and driving dynamics far superior to anything else in its class, the Macan is really the ultimate do-everything car for a driving enthusiast. In the United States, the Macan is offered in four trim levels, with the sportiest one being the GTS trim. Although it isn’t the fastest – that title goes to the Macan Turbo with a Performance Package – the GTS is nearly as quick and features a sport tuned suspension and more aggressive exterior styling, making it the most sought after in the world of pre-owned Macans.

This 2017 Porsche Macan GTS is finished in beautiful Sapphire Blue Metallic over black extended leather and shows 77,400 miles at the time of cataloging. Under the care of three owners from new, the car was first sold in Southern California, where it stayed until being acquired by the current owner in February 2024. With considerable dealer and marque specialist service history, this Macan has been maintained to a high standard and drives remarkably well. The Macan GTS is distinguished from the other variants thanks to its SportDesign body kit, dark trim around the windows and black LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System that give it a more aggressive look. Many GTSs from this generation were ordered with the RS-Spyder design wheels but this car was specified with upgraded 21-inch 10-spoke Turbo wheels that look stunning and when paired with the beautiful blue color, help the car stand out from other Macans. This Macan is offered with two sets of tires – new winter tires that are currently mounted, as well as a good set of all-seasons ready to be installed, as well as a car cover, WeatherTech floor mats, a new front license plate mount and Dobson Stuttgart service records. For the car lover looking for a new daily driver, this Macan GTS is hard to beat for its combination of performance, looks and value.

    SOLD

This 1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet was sold new in New York State, but has lived in the Western Washington area since 1991. Finished in an appealing spec of white over a Burgundy leather interior, the car shows 167,575 miles at the time of cataloging and is an extremely eye-catching example. The white exterior is highlighted by a factory-ordered set of white-center Fuchs forged wheels that give the car an outstanding 1980s aesthetic – especially when paired with the whale tail rear spoiler.

On the interior, Porsche’s classic deep bolstered sport seats have been specified up front, which also feature electric adjustment. This car remains largely stock, but does benefit from the addition of a Porsche Classic stereo head unit which is the gold standard for upgraded Porsche infotainment and gives all the modern features in a classic looking package.

Powering the 1988 Carrera is a 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-6 that produces 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through a sought after G50 5-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels via a factory specced limited slip differential. The slick shifting gearbox comes with a factory short shifter and offers extremely satisfying throws and makes this 911 a joy to toss around. We have been servicing this car at Dobson Stuttgart since late 2022 and over the last 3,000 miles, we have carried out numerous services to ensure the car is running and driving fantastically.

    SOLD

From the model’s introduction in 1964, all the way through the 964 generation that ended in 1994, changes to the Porsche 911 were more evolutionary rather than revolutionary. Sure the wheelbase grew, the car was fitted with fuel injection and air conditioning over time, but at its core, it kept the spirit of the early cars the whole way through. But that wasn’t the only thing it kept, as dimensions didn’t change much from 1967 through 1994, body panels from earlier cars fit on later chassis and vice-versa. Although in the 1980s and 1990s this was used to transform early cars into more modern looking 911s, this trend has thankfully ended and people are instead, fitting later model air-cooled 911s with a classic body. This gives the benefit of more powerful and reliable engines, improved suspension and brake systems as well as better interior technology, without needing to cut up a long-hood car to fit everything in.

This 911 started life as a 1986 G-Body 3.2 Carrera that was sold new in the greater Boston, Massachusetts region. Outfitted from the factory in black with a factory short shifter, power actuated sunroof, and cruise control, the car was only in the Northeast for a few years before coming out to the west coast where it then spent considerable time in Oregon and California. In 2013, the car began its transformation to 1972 backdate specifications, which was carried out by Avant-Garde in Portland, Oregon.

The conversion began with the installation of steel long-hood bodywork in the front, including a new hood and 911 S front bumper while the rear end received a fiberglass bumper. While the original 3.2 Carrera had black trim around the windows, headlights and engine grille, that was all switched out for a more period correct polished look and the entire car was repainted in beautiful Schwarz (black). With its removed rocker panels and RSR-Finish staggered 16” Fuchs wheels, this Carrera has a stunning outlaw look.

Much of the interior was also upgraded by Achtung Kraft in Same, Wisconsin in the style of a Singer 911 – the modern-style bucket seats are fitted with woven leather centers with a black background and Gulf Racing light blue and orange striping that is also seen on the door cards and dashboard. A 3-spoke Momo Prototipo frames a custom set of gauges that also feature Gulf accents, while a low-key stereo with LCD navigation and dual rally-timer stopwatches are also fit in the dash. This car retains air conditioning.

Out back sits the legendary 3.2-liter flat-6, which has been upgraded with a Steve Wong chip. The dual center exit rear exhaust is a Dansk sport muffler, and SSI stainless heat exchangers were also installed. Power is sent through a 915 5-speed gearbox that was rebuilt in 2018 with new first and second gear synchros and a sport clutch and flywheel were also installed.

Although the backdated cars may not be the choice of the Porsche purist, for somebody who just loves to drive, they are nearly impossible to beat. When you pair the classic good looks of a vintage 911 with the performance and convenience of a more modern car, you end up with a vehicle that you are excited to drive and puts a smile on your face – and the faces of everyone you see – every time you’re out. This car would be exceptionally costly these days to replicate and buying a complete version that was done to as high of a standard as this is without a doubt the best way to put a backdated 911 in your garage.

In 1984, the Porsche 911 moved from the beloved “SC” variant to being badged as simply the “Carrera.” Along with a change in name, the 911 received an additional 200cc of displacement, as well as a change from Bosch CIS to a far more advanced Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection system. These changes made for a boost of nearly 30 horsepower over the previous model, and were known to be rock solid from a reliability standpoint, and smoother running than the older cars as well. In light of this, it should be no surprise that the 3.2 Carreras built from 1984 until 1989 stand as some of the most beloved 911s of all time and collector values have been extremely strong recently as a result.

This 1986 911 Carrera coupe is a beautiful example of this sought-after model and is finished in a very unique shade of Moss Green Metallic. At the time that these 911s were being produced, more standard colors like black, white and red were really in style, while the numerous greens and blues Porsche offered at the time were rarely selected. With the recent increase in interest surrounding unique colored classic 911s, those few cars painted in more unconventional shades have become quite sought after. CarFax shows that this car spent the early part of its life in Kansas, where it lived until 1996, at which point it was brought to Seattle, where it has stayed since. Current mileage is just over 133,750 which is believed to be original. From the factory, this car was very nicely set up with a thicker diameter sports steering wheel that is paired with a 30mm hub extender – a great option for one of these cars which weren’t built with an adjustable column. Additionally, a short shifter gives a positive shift feel and is a welcome addition to the 915 gearbox in this example. Factory fitted Fuchs are also seen on this car with black faces, as are cruise control and a power sunroof.

We have been servicing this car at Dobson Stuttgart for the last three years, during which time it has only been driven a few hundred miles. That being said, since 2021, we have replaced front and rear brake hoses and done a fluid flush, replaced the ignition coil, adjusted the wheel bearings, replaced drive and serpentine belts, balanced the tires and performed numerous oil changes. This car has complete service records and is currently in excellent condition and would make a perfect driver for an enthusiast looking to get into a unique and attractive air-cooled 911.

With the rapidly expanding niche of mid-size SUVs overtaking sales of pretty much every style of car over the past decade, it was a no-brainer for Porsche to jump on board. With the introduction of the Macan in 2013, the company set the new benchmark for how well this style of car could drive in a way that only Porsche can. Although some people may claim that it’s just a reskinned Audi Q5, in truth, the Macan is revised and improved in pretty much every conceivable way from chassis to suspension to engine options, transfer case and both the interior and exterior design. Built alongside the Panamera in Porsche’s Leipzig, Germany factory, even with its high production numbers, the Macan is still subject to the litany of quality control tests on the production line, that separate Porsche from the lesser brands under the Volkswagen umbrella. The result is a crossover SUV that can really do it all, equally comfortable taking the kids to school as it is on a twisty back road, with luxury car interior quality.

This 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo is a nice 2-owner example that was sold new in the greater New York area, and has lived in Washington State since 2018. Finished in Agate Gray Metallic over a black leather interior, we have been servicing this car since 2019 and 35,700 miles. Currently, the car shows 81,000 miles and benefits from a recent service at Porsche of Bellevue in April of 2024. From the factory, this Macan was fitted with a host of desirable options including the Premium Pack with 14-way power adjusting seats, dark wood veneer interior, RS-Spyder wheels with a diamond turned finish and Bose high-end surround sound. Although all Macans were technically turbocharged, the variant badged “Turbo” like this is fitted with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 that produces 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque which is sent through a 7-speed PDK gearbox to all four wheels. Under current ownership, the car has been maintained to a very high level, with intake manifold gaskets replaced and a cooling system service in September of 2023, front and rear brakes replaced in June of 2023, the driver belts and serpentine tensioners replaced in January of the same year. With the next generation Macan hitting dealer lots as an all electric SUV with prices extending deep into the 6-figures, these first generation cars are looking like an incredible value and still rank as one of the best do-everything cars you can buy.

    SOLD

The “Impact-Bumper” era of Porsche 911 spanned from 1974 until 1989 and is one of the most iconic generations of the car. From that entire spread of years, most people consider the cars built between 1987 and 1989 to be the best – they were the most powerful, typically the best equipped and most importantly, were fitted with the desirable G50 gearbox. Replacing the long-lived 915 gearbox that came before it, the G50 did away with the notoriously vague shifting of the earlier cars and in its place, put a much more conventional feeling transmission that transformed the cars, making them both more fun to drive fast and easier to wheel around town every day.

This 1987 911 Carrera Cabriolet is a particularly special example as it shows just 29,975 miles at the time of cataloging and has been under long-term ownership. Finished in Black over Black, this car’s production was completed late-September 1986, and was delivered to the first owner in late November the same year. After just over 18 months, the car was purchased by the consignor in April of 1988, and has stayed in their care ever since. Always kept in the Bellevue, WA area, CarFax shows only a few hundred miles added to the car between bi-annual emissions tests, and a few entries for service work carried out by Dobson Stuttgart beginning in 2022. From the factory, this 911 came equipped with Fuchs wheels with black centers and polished lips, as well as cruise control and sport-tuned shock absorbers. Given the minimal usage over the years, this car remains in stunning original condition with the only notable upgrades being a Panasonic CD head unit and modern tires. Under our care in the service department, the car received a fairly standard list of maintenance items that most cars of this age would require including a new fuel filter, brake fluid flush, fuel system cleaning and new struts for the rear engine lid. Finding a late Impact Bumper Carrera with such low miles and essentially one owner, is a real rarity these days. When you see this car in person, it really does live up to the hype, and if someone didn’t know, you would think the condition was in line with a car that was maybe two years old, rather than 37.

The mid-1970s were a bit of an odd time for the Porsche 911. After the end of the classic long hood, small bumper cars that everybody knows and loves in 1973, Porsche needed to adapt its sports car to meet a host of new emissions and safety requirements. Colloquially known as the Impact Bumper cars, these were only offered from the 1974 through 1977 model years, just before the introduction of the SC in 1978. These cars offered a unique combination of features, retaining the narrow rear arches from the outgoing long-hood cars, but now with a 2.7-liter flat-6 replacing the 2.4 that came before it. Fueling was handled by a Bosch K-Jetronic system, and in the United States, many of these cars were fitted with options like air conditioning and a sunroof.

This 1977 Porsche 911 S is from the final year of production of these mid-year cars, and is offered in Black over a Cork (tan) Interior. This US Spec example benefits from numerous service items carried out by our shop at Dobson Stuttgart including numerous suspension items and an auxiliary belt replacement. The 1977 911 S is rated at 175 horsepower which is plenty in a car weighing less than 2,400 lbs and offers that delicate steering feel that is a signature of early 911s. Although the odometer shows over 220,000 miles, this car doesn’t smoke and pulls strong through the gears and is an absolute joy to toss around on twisty roads. Although the photos currently show the car with an aftermarket tint, that has since been removed, which really enhances the look of the car and to our eyes, makes it appear far more classic. Although these mid-year cars may not be as revered as the earlier long hoods, or as ubiquitous as the later SCs, they represent a great time in Porsche’s history from a driving standpoint and at a very reasonable price.

In the early-1990s, Porsche was in rather dire financial straits. Sales had been slow due to an economic downturn and manufacturing prices were extremely high due to outdated techniques at the factory. The brand knew that if it was going to survive, it would need a lower priced car that they could produce in volume, that would also share parts with the forthcoming 911. The Porsche Boxster concept debuted at the 1993 North American International Auto Show and it caused a massive stir. With a name derived from combining Boxer – a nickname for the flat engine – and Roadster – the only bodystyle the car would be offered in, the production Boxster launched in 1996 with a design that was not largely changed from the original concept. The reception upon its release was just as enthusiastic as when the concept was first shown and it quickly turned Porsche’s fortunes around thanks to its simpler production methods and lower base price.

This 2002 Porsche 986 Boxster S is the perfect entry point to Porsche ownership for an enthusiast who has always wanted a car from the famed German manufacturer. Finished in beautiful and rare Cobalt Blue Metallic, this Boxster S shows just over 86,000 miles and was optioned with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The “S” received numerous updates over the standard Boxster including an extra 700cc of displacement (totalling 3.2 liters), the 6th gear in the transmission, twin-exit exhausts, stiffer anti-roll bars, red brake calipers white faced gauges and more. The interior on this car is wrapped in Graphite Gray partial leather, and a Bose high-end stereo is fitted from the factory. The clean CarFax shows 3 owners from new and this car received a recent servicing at Dobson Stuttgart that included a full set of new Continental Extreme Contact Tires and a fresh convertible top. The 986 generation Boxster is a tremendously underrated car from the driver’s seat, offering lively steering, neutral handling and enough power to have fun, without getting yourself into serious trouble. Offered at an extremely appealing price, this Boxster S is a great first Porsche, or an addition to your Porsche collection that you won’t have qualms about using every day.

  • 1968 Porsche 912 – Ex Dick Barbour

    • 89,250 mi
    • 5-speed manual
      3101 W. Commodore Way
    SOLD

When Porsche first debuted the 901 (later known as the 911), brand enthusiasts were disappointed by the heavier engine and higher price tag when compared to the outgoing 356. In listening to these critiques, Porsche developed a middle ground, producing a 911 that was powered by a variant of the flat-4 found in the 356, which could be offered at a significantly lower price point. Built between 1965 and 1969, the 912 became known for its tremendous efficiency and neutral handling thanks to the smaller engine sitting more inboard in the chassis.

This 1968 Porsche 912 is finished in what is arguably one of the best colors of the era – Irish Green. Purchased from LeMans class-winning driver Dick Barbour, this 912 retains a largely original appearance on the exterior but benefits from a number of modifications under the skin that make it truly great to drive. A factory 5-speed manual gearbox gives you a much more enjoyable driving experience than the standard 4-speed that came in these cars, and allows for both improved acceleration in town and more relaxed highway cruising.

While under the care of Dick Barbour, the 1600cc flat-4 was rebuilt by Graham Everett Motorsport with big-bore pistons that increase displacement to 1,7500cc. Graham Everett was the head mechanic for JLP Racing and numerous other Porsche endurance race cars through the 1970s and 1980s and now runs a successful engine building service out of a garage at Road Atlanta. This rebuild was completed in September of 2020 and has seen roughly 3,500 miles of use since its completion and pulls strong through the revs while sounding appropriately aggressive.

Under current ownership, the car has had considerable work carried out at Dobson Stuttgart including suspension work, the installation of custom GTS Classic bucket seats up front with seat belts, new Vredestein radial tires and European style headlights. The result is a car that is truly a joy to toss around on your favorite back road, with enough power to rival some of its flat-6 counterparts from the era. This car isn’t going to win any stoplight drag races, but whenever the road gets twisty, it will put a smile on your face and has more than enough power to have a ton of fun.

    SOLD

The Porsche 911 has long been the brand’s halo car, but in the 1970s, there were talks of replacing the rear-engined, air cooled coupe with something aimed at a more upscale audience. What Porsche engineers came up with was a futuristic looking 2+2 coupe with a big V8 up front and a fantastically luxurious interior, known as the 928. Although it was quickly decided that the 928 would not replace the 911, it was far enough along that Porsche pressed it into production as a grand touring counterpart to the more sport-oriented 911. Never seriously intended for competition use, the 928 was designed to coddle the occupants in luxurious comfort while cruising across countries at great speed. The water-cooled V8 up front offered gobs of low-down torque and was frequently paired with a Mercedes-sourced automatic gearbox which made the car a perfect daily driver for the wealthy enthusiast. Over the model’s 18-year production run, it went through numerous revisions that ultimately moved it even further into the fast grand touring market. Although it is hotly contested what the best variants are, the later cars with dual overhead cams and more extreme aero packages are considered some of the best.

This 1989 Porsche 928 S4 is from the second to last generation of the car, and features many of the desirable updates found in the final GTS models, for a fraction of the price. This is a lifelong California car that spent the majority of its life in the San Francisco Bay Area. Finished in black over tan, the car currently shows 65,726 miles and is being offered with a clean CarFax. The S4 is fitted with a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 that produces 316 horsepower, which is sent through a 4-speed automatic transaxle to the rear wheels. With a top speed in excess of 160 mph, this car is known for feeling remarkably planted thanks to its advanced front splitter, rear spoiler and unique Weissach Axle that offers a “passive rear wheel steering system” that is designed to increase stability. The overall condition of this car is remarkable and, although not a concours show car, would make an exceptional usable classic. Owing to the care that this car saw throughout its life, the original Blaupunkt radio with cassette player remains in the dashboard and the supple tan leather is in great condition for the age. With a base price of more than $65,000 in 1988 – or nearly $200,000 in today’s money – it truly was a car built for a captain of industry, and still feels that way behind the wheel today.

      3101 W. Commodore Way
    SOLD

The Porsche 996 was the company’s first foray into water cooling the 911. Although this was met with some resistance by the Porsche faithful, it was the only way for the brand to continue advancing everyone’s favorite rear engined sports car, while still staying on the right side of ever tightening emissions regulations. As is almost always the case with Porsche, all it took was one drive to realize that the 996 was a far more sophisticated and refined car than the 993 it replaced and was the superior car for a combination of fast driving and daily use. For years, the 996 chassis cars became quite inexpensive, being seen as inferior to the 997 that succeeded it and without the character of the 993 that it replaced, but over the past few years, enthusiasts have come around to the fact that the 996 is truly an outstanding driver’s car that deserves a second look.

This 1998 Porsche 996 911 is finished in the classic shade of Arctic Silver over a black leather interior. Fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission, this 911 was recently treated to a complete engine rebuild while under our care at Dobson Stuttgart. Showing 158,784 miles at the time of writing, this 996 has been mechanically brought back to a very high standard with an updated IMS bearing, in an effort to make it a solid drivers car. With a build date of January 30th 1998, this 996 is one of the earliest builds from the 996 generation and was assembled alongside the final 993s at the Porsche factory. These early cars have become quite sought after given they were built before Porsche moved to drive-by-wire, with the accelerator still having a cable attachment for a more visceral feel. In addition, this means that the car does not have traction control or stability management, which makes for a very involving drive. It has been said that the early 996s were built to a higher standard and feel better put together than some of the later cars when production was going at full speed and this car does feel quite nice from behind the wheel.

The exterior has been modified slightly with a European-style 996.1 GT3 front bumper cover, and the wheels look to be TSWs with satin black centers and brushed lips. These wheels are wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires, with plenty of life left in them. Although this 996 is not cosmetically perfect, with some scratches and rock chips on the front bumper, it is a great opportunity to get into a 911 at a reasonable price that you can drive and enjoy without worry. If you are looking for a first entry into the world of Porsche or would like a great driving example that you can park alongside your show car, this 996 Carrera 2 is dialed in and ready to enjoy.

    SOLD

For many Porsche enthusiasts, the 997 generation was the last great 911. It offers most of the comfort you could expect in a modern car, but was built before cars began to grow substantially in size. Obviously Porsche has made plenty of great 911s since the 997, but it holds a special place in the brand’s history, and conveniently, the 997 is also one of the most attainable 911s on sale today. This was the first variant of the 911 where Porsche began offering a tremendous number of variants for buyers to choose from, but in the car’s first year on sale- 2005 – it was only offered in a few configurations. Before the Turbo and GT3 debuted, if you wanted to get the highest performing 997, you would opt for the Carrera S. With a punched-out 3.8-liter flat 6 and wider rear track, the Carrera S is still widely considered to be one of the great driver’s cars from the era and offers an exceptional blend of performance and modern-day usability.

This 2005 Carrera S was ordered by somebody who loved performance driving, which is evident by the option boxes ticked at the dealership. Showing 105,854 miles, it is finished in Lapis Blue Metallic, and fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission with the factory short-shifter, as well as the very rarely ordered Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCBs). In 2005, these brakes alone added nearly $10,000 to the cost of your 911 and had only been available on the highest-performing 996s in the previous generation. The car was also optioned with the Bose High-End Sound package and leather wrapped sport seats.

Under prior ownership, this Carrera S was treated to a host of upgrades that make it look outstanding and provide even greater driving enjoyment. The most immediately noticeable upgrades are the exterior aero kit which includes a lower front valance and large fixed rear spoiler, as well as a set of multi-piece BBS LM wheels. Mechanically, a set of AWE headers along with an AWE cat back exhaust have been fitted and the car rides on BC Racing Coilovers. Function First engine mounts help the car put the power to the ground and numeric shift cables give it a very positive shift feel. The interior has been upgraded as well with Alcantara on the steering wheel, shift knob and shift boot, as well as a Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay capabilities.

This 997 Carrera S is a great car for the enthusiast looking to step into their first 911, or somebody coming out of a classic looking for air conditioning and modern performance. If you want to see the car in person or learn more, please contact us at Dobson Stuttgart.

    SOLD

Since Cayman’s launch in 2005, it quickly gained a following with the Porsche faithful for its neutral handling dynamics, practical interior layout and affordable price of entry. On the used market today, that is even more the case, with prices for the first 987 generation coming down to a point where they are now one of the best bang-for-buck sports cars available. In 2008, Porsche developed a special edition Cayman S to celebrate 35 years of the Porsche Design brand and called it the Cayman S Design Edition 1. Only available in Black, this Cayman was fitted with a number of special options as well as a unique – yet subtle- graphics package to signify that this car is #580 of the 777 units produced.

This 2008 Porsche Cayman S Design Edition 1 is a lifelong Pacific Northwest car and was sold new in Tacoma, WA. Showing 58,550 miles at the time of cataloging, this car spent some time in British Columbia, before coming back to Washington State in June of 2020, and has been serviced by Dobson Stuttgart since. Fitted with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this Cayman is thrilling to drive, thanks in large part to the chassis tweaks carried out on the Design Edition 1 cars. These cars came almost fully loaded but from behind the wheel, the most important options are the PASM sport suspension which lowers the car 10mm and a set of 5mm wheel spacers that combine to give the car a perfect stance. On the interior, this was the first use of Alcantara in a Cayman, which can be found on the steering wheel, shifter, handbrake lever and headliner. The gauges are also finished in a new font with a different color than the standard car, paying homage to the products conceptualized by Porsche Design. This car has been kept to a very high standard over the years and benefits from an upgraded Apple Play head unit, front and rear facing cameras and a fresh set of Vredstein tires less than one year ago. If you have always wanted to experience the thrill of Porsche ownership, it’s hard to imagine a better way to dive in than this Cayman S.

      3101 W. Commodore Way
    SOLD

The Porsche 993 was a classic as soon as it was launched in 1994. Representing the end of the air-cooled 911, the 993 combined modern, of the moment styling, with the most highly developed air-cooled engine to ever come from Porsche. These cars are the ultimate in usable classics, and offer an appealing combination of refinement, paired with just the right amount of driver involvement, and legendary Porsche reliability. The 993 is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-6 known as the M64 which was updated in 1996 with Porsche’s new Varioram variable length intake, as well as OBD II. According to Porsche, this engine produces 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, which allows for 0-60 mph in the mid-5 second range and a top speed in excess of 160 mph. Production of the 993 ended in 1998 with the introduction of the watercooled 996, and although values dipped for a time, they have been rapidly accelerating over the last decade and remain one of the most sought after properties in the collector car world today.

This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is a wonderful driver quality example of Porsche’s final air-cooled car. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Classic Gray Full Leather with a Classic Gray fabric top, this 6-speed manual equipped car shows 149,708 miles, but looks more like a car with 60,000 miles on it. The clean CarFax indicates this Porsche was sold new in Southern California, where more than 76,000 miles were racked up in the first 5 years. Since that time, the car has moved around the country, but was always comprehensively serviced at dealers or marque specialists, and has been under our care at Dobson Stuttgart since May of 2021. Within the last month, we have replaced the drive belts and fitted a brand new set of Continental ExtremeContact performance tires to ensure that the car is ready for its next caretaker to enjoy. As the 993 has reached classic car status over the past decade, collectors have put an outsized emphasis on low mile show cars – but with those cars, you lose sight of what makes these cars so great – the drive. In light of that, this 993 Carrera Cabriolet is the perfect car for top down, summer enjoyment, that is ready to go and make memories for another 150,000 miles.

    SOLD

When Mercedes Benz began designing the R107 SL, they knew that the United States was going to be a major market for the car. Over its 18 year production run, more than 68% of the entire run of R107s were sold into the United States, and it has become one of the most beloved classics of the 1970s and 1980s.

This 380SL is a lifelong Seattle area car, and presents in excellent condition throughout. Finished in the appealing color of Silver Blue Metallic over Dark Blue leather interior, this SL shows less than 40,000 miles on the odometer- which is believed to be original. Although this car is fitted with the US-Spec impact bumpers, one of the prior owners swapped the sealed-beam headlights for Euro-spec single large glass lenses which streamlines the look up front and is a very desirable upgrade in the R107 world.

These SLs were all built as convertibles, but feature a weatherproof removable hardtop that turns your convertible into a striking coupe, offering added practicality that most drop-top cars from this era can’t match. This example is reported to have recently had a new soft top installed, and the removable hardtop is in excellent condition. Additionally, a known issue on these cars is the pad under the hood degrading over time- this has recently been replaced and when you open the engine bay, it is remarkably clean under the hood.

Under the care of just two owners from new, this is the perfect car for top-down summer fun, representing outstanding value, and a solid place to park your money, while enjoying the drive.

  • 1956 Austin-Healey 100M W/Factory LeMans Kit

    • 61,217 mi
    • 4-Speed Manual
    SOLD

The Austin Healey 100 was built by the English manufacturer between 1953 and 1956. Styled by Gerry Coker, the 100 was a beautiful roadster, based around Austin A90 mechanicals, and the car that kick started the relationship between Austin and Donald Healey. Called the 100 for its ability to reach 100 mph, the 100 was built in a few different variants – namely the BN1 and BN2, and then the 100M and 100S high-performance variants.

Of these, the most well known is likely the 100M- which was first shown at the 1955 London Motor Show. Immediately identifiable by its fold flat windshield and louvered hood, the 100M received numerous performance modifications from the factory that included larger carburetors, a cold air intake, high lift camshaft and new 8.1:1 compression pistons. This equated to a stout 110 horsepower at 4,500 rpm which was plenty for a car weighing sub-2,000 lbs. Only 640 100Ms were produced from the factory, but Austin Healey made the “LeMans Kit” engine and visual upgrades available to standard 100 owners, but the factory built cars are significantly more sought after.

This 1956 Austin-Healey BN2 Roadster is one of the 640 100M examples produced over a 10-month span and was completed on May 10, 1956. It was originally dispatched to Toronto, Canada and acquired around 17 years ago by the previous owner, who commissioned a subsequent refurbishment by Lynn Martin of Forever Healeys in Post Falls, Idaho. This is a show quality car that would be the star of any English car show, but drives even better than it looks. Upon acquiring the car in 2022, the consignor spent an additional $6,000 on dialing the driving experience in at Seattle-area British car specialists BritSport, and the car has seen less than 1,000 miles since the work was completed.

The Austin Healey 100 is arguably one of the most fun to drive English roadsters and the 100M takes that enjoyment to the next level.

  • 2006 Porsche 997 C4S Cabriolet – LOW MILES

    • 14,200 mi
    • 6-speed manual
    SOLD

This 2006 Porsche 911 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is one of the most exceptional examples that any of us at Dobson Stuttgart have ever seen. Finished in Atlas Gray Metallic- a beautiful gray blue that shifts depending on the light- this car shows less than 14,200 miles at the time of cataloging and has been under the care of just two local owners from new. Although the miles and local ownership are appealing, what really sets this car apart is the fact that, as far as we can tell, nearly every option available at the time was selected on this car.

Perhaps the rarest option is the factory hard top-in 2006 this option was nearly $4,000- which is why you almost never see 997s fitted with one. When it is on the car, it is almost indistinguishable from a coupe, and features a large glass window with a defroster, yet you still have the option of top down motoring when the weather gets nice.

The interior features heated sport seats with extended leather that extends onto the dashboard, center stack and rear storage compartment lid, and the center console is color matched to the exterior of the car. Sitting on the dashboard is the new-for 997 Sport Chrono stopwatch, and that along with all of the dials, are factory painted in silver.

Powering the Carrera 4S is a 3.8-liter Flat 6 that is rated from the factory at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In this example, it is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission with a factory short shifter. Handling is aided by Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as the factory optional limited slip differential in the rear.

Between the sales and service side of our business, we see more 997s than the average enthusiast. And when this car came to us to sell, we were absolutely blown away by the overall condition, mileage and extensive list of options- only some of which have been mentioned in this writeup. To learn more, please reach out and we would be happy to discuss the car in depth.

    • 102,000 mi

    SOLD

For the enthusiast who wants a classic car that they can enjoy every day, the 911 Carrera 3.2 – built between 1984 and 1989 is about the perfect choice. This 1988 911 Targa is an outstanding example of the model and has been under Seattle-area ownership for a large part of its life. Finished in Guards Red over Black leather, this Targa shows just 101,988 miles at the time of cataloging and has been kept in exceptional condition from new. As a 1988, this car is fitted from the factory with the all important G50 gearbox-offering far more positive shifter throws and a smooth, hydraulic clutch. The 3.2-liter air cooled flat-6, pulls strong and will happily rev up the tach and makes this sub-3,000 lb 911 feel remarkably quick.

The Guards Red paint on this car is in remarkable shape and appears to be original Porsche single-stage. After a light polish and wax, the car shines like new and looks stunning when paired with the factory-option black-center Fuchs wheels. This is a straight, rust-free example that can be driven and enjoyed, without worrying about putting miles on the odometer. With summer rapidly approaching, there is no better summer vehicle than an air-cooled Porsche with a roof that comes out!

  • 2009 Porsche Carrera 4S Cabriolet

    • 43,000 mi
    • PDK Dual-clutch 7-speed automatic
    SOLD

With all 911s of the water-cooled generations, the cars are split up into two sub-generations. Commonly referred to as “.1” and “.2,” the second generation typically features updated front and rear fascias, improved mechanicals, and some new optional features. In the 997 generation, the leap from the 997.1 to the 997.2 was barely distinguishable on the exterior by anyone but the most diehard Porsche enthusiasts- consisting of predominately new taillights- but what Porsche did under the skin was what separates the two. The 997.1 was powered by an engine known as the M97, which was an update on the brand’s first water-cooled flat 6. Although this was a great engine, it wasn’t without its issues, and Porsche was aware of this, so to solve it they developed an entirely new engine family known as the “DFI” motors, denoting the direct fuel injection system the engine utilized. This motor is known for its improved dependability, efficiency, and of course, increased power, up by 25 hp to 380 horsepower in “S” and “4S” guise. Even with this new engine, the headline update was the availability of Porsche’s new PDK 7-speed double-clutch gearbox, which replaced the antiquated torque converter “Tiptronic S” 5-speed automatic from the first generation cars.

This 2009 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver with a black convertible top over a black leather interior. Under the care of just two owners from new, this Carrera was first sold in Texas, where it lived with its original owner until it was sold into Washington in March of 2023. Showing just 43,000 miles, it is exceptionally well-optioned and has been looked over by our team at Dobson Stuttgart since coming to the state. This 997.2 is fitted with the fantastic PDK 7-speed double-clutch gearbox, which offers seamless shifting and is the perfect transmission for this car. Additionally, on the interior, the ultra-rare heated and ventilated seat options have been selected, along with 8-way power adjustment. 19” 5-spoke Carrera S wheels are optioned and sit in front of red-painted brake calipers. Bi-Xenon headlamps are fitted in front, and in the rear are the 997.2 signature LED taillamps, which are bridged by the Carrera 4S exclusive “heckblende” red strip that accentuates the wide rear hips of the car. Ask many enthusiasts and they will tell you that the 997 is the proper size for the 911, and subsequent cars have begun to grow too large for tight backroads. This 997.2 really checks all the boxes and will be a perfect car to enjoy with the top down all summer and then, thanks to the sport-tuned all-wheel drive, continue driving into the winter.

  • 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet

    • 102,000 mi
    • 6-speed manual

Split into two generations, the 997 was offered in Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa, and could be tailored to almost any specification you desired. This 2005 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is what’s known as a “997.1”, and was finished in the first full year of the model’s production. Finished in Black with a black convertible top, this example was sold new in Texas, shows right around 102,000 miles and is a great spec for someone who loves pure driving enjoyment.

The first clue this was sold to an enthusiast is the 6-speed manual gearbox fitted to this car- offering positive shift action and an easy clutch, this gearbox and pedal setup make for easy heel-toe shifting and a lot of fun when the road gets twisty. As a Carrera S, this car produces 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and the M97 flat-6 sitting out back makes one of the best noises from Porsche’s watercooled era. This sound is made even better by the addition of a Fabspeed cold air intake which amplifies the induction bark-one of this motor’s best qualities- while also adding an estimated 11 horsepower. The 19” Carrera S “Lobster Claw” wheels are finished with black centers and polished lips, and sit in front of red brake calipers- which compliment the red “S” emblem on the rear of the car. On the interior, the seats are covered in black leather and the car is fitted with the smaller diameter sport steering wheel, as well as white-faced gauges and a PCM module. We have been servicing this car at Dobson Stuttgart since September of 2022- including doing a pre purchase inspection before the owner took delivery. We love these cars and think that anybody who is looking for a great top down sports car for the summer would be absolutely over the moon behind the wheel of this Carrera S Cabriolet.

  • 2013 Porsche Carrera 4S Cabriolet

    • 39,900 mi
    • PDK Dual-clutch 7-speed automatic
    SOLD

When the 991 debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011, it was only the third all-new platform in 911 history, pushing the model forward as the ultimate blend of performance and everyday usability. Offering more amenities, a class-leading PDK double-clutch gearbox, and a larger overall footprint, the 991 sacrificed little practicality compared to an M3 or C63 AMG but still came with a driving experience that was distinctly Porsche. In 2012 at the Paris Motorshow, Porsche unveiled the 991 Carrera 4S- featuring wide rear fenders and a “heckblende” strip connecting the taillights as an homage to earlier generation cars, the Carrera 4S offered all-weather usability, paired with the Carrera S’s more powerful 3.8 liter flat-6 engine. From the factory, Porsche claims 395 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 325 lb-ft of torque at 5,600 rpm, which, in cabriolet form, makes for 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 185 mph.

Built in April of 2013, this Carrera 4S Cabriolet is a beautiful car, finished in the stunning shade of Platinum Silver Metallic over black leather. Sold new through Porsche of Bellevue in May of 2013, this car has been under the care of just 2 owners from new, both of which were local to the Seattle area. Under the care of the first owner, the car was exclusively serviced at the selling dealer and was sold to the current owner in June of 2021, showing 36,800 miles. Since taking ownership, the second owner of the car used it sparingly, adding just 3,000 miles in 3 years and servicing it exclusively with us at Dobson Stuttgart. From the factory, this car came very nicely optioned with a set of satin-finish 20” Y-spoke wheels, heated and ventilated sport seats, and a 7-speed PDK gearbox. Additionally, the upgraded Bose stereo system offers wonderful, clear sound, even with the top down, and the Sport Chrono package fits the dashboard with the sought-after stopwatch, launch control, and an over-boost function while passing. With the driving season rapidly approaching, now is the time to get your new sports car for the summer squared away. This Carrera 4S Cabriolet offers a perfect combination of usability, performance, and top-down enjoyment that is hard to find anywhere else.

Underneath its curvaceous shell is the very reliable 248-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This stunning Chalk over black Macan base is equipped with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, 18″ Porsche rims with Pirelli Scorpion all-season tires. Sure, some competitors are more affordable and practical, but they don’t cast a spell on their drivers in the same way that the Porsche does. It truly sets the bar for what crossovers can be. Call now to make an appointment to see and drive this very popular vehicle.

    SOLD

The 911T was Porsche’s response to customers’ requests for a lighter, more driver focused car, reminiscent of the fabled 964 RS America. This meant thinner side windows, less sound deadening, a shorter rear axle ratio, fabric door pulls, “Sport-Tex” seats, a short throw shifter and more. The twin turbo 3.0 flat-six produced 370hp from the factory; this particular car has been upgraded with factory GTS turbos, a tune and some other details. It is estimated that it produces at least as much as the 911 Turbo model, likely in excess of 550hp.

What you get is a car with the power of their flagship car, but with nearly 800 pounds less mass to motivate and RWD as Ferdinand Porsche intended. This is a truly amazing car that is happy to make Costco runs, drop kids at school, scare your passengers on a back road or have fun at a track day, all effortlessly.

Please reach out with any questions, or if you’d like to schedule a time to see the car. It must be experienced to appreciate just how special this car is.
