1959 Porsche 356A Roadster – 1600 Super

The Porsche 356 is the genesis of the brand and even nearly 80 years after its debut, you can clearly see the lineage to the cars the brand is building today. Of the 356 generations, in recent years the early cars known as the Pre-A and As have become very popular, thanks to their design purity, lightweight and engaging driving dynamics.

This 1959 356 A Roadster is from the end of the A series of cars, and was built to the 1600 Super specifications. Finished in Red over a tan interior, this 356 A is furnished with a removable hard-top, giving it all-weather capabilities and a great look when it is on or off. As a 1600 Super, this car is powered by a 1.6-liter air cooled flat-4 that produces 75 horsepower and 86 lb-ft of torque. This is sent through a 4-speed transaxle to the rear wheels.
