Gerber Motorsport was founded by Walter Gerber in 1993. Walter started the company as a consulting firm for customers and clients that needed professional racing and Porsche management services.
In 2016, Walter sold the Gerber Motorsport shop and name to 7-time Indy 500 and LeMans driver Dominic Dobson of Dobson Motorsport. Dobson drover for Walter in the Bayside Racing Team’s Porsche and Lola Indy cars during the 1989-1990 Racing season.
